The perpetrators:
Very few Oil Companies will now touch environmentally sensitive areas – A spokesman for a leading oil and gas consulting organisation has said that "... we would always keep clear of projects that are potentially environmentally damaging". However, not all organisations are as ethically minded. One such company, Hunt Oil has been pushing the boundaries for a while, and stands to gain should this bill be passed. They are are one of the key stakeholders in the controversial Camisea project and have controversial dealings in Iraq and Yemen.
